Ben Belisle
CONSULTANT
Ben joined Motive in 2021 with a varied background in international research. Originally from the Atlanta area, Ben has broad experience in qualitative research, with prior experience ranging from academic anthropological studies on peace and violence, international fundraising research for nonprofits, and investment research in the information services sector.
Much of Ben’s work and studies have a global purview, with experience that has focused on East Africa as well as Latin America and other geographies — where he has contributed directly to Motive’s successful assignments in both those continents.
Ben holds a BIS degree in Global Studies from Georgia State University, as well as two certificates of language ability in French and Spanish. His travels have taken him from Sri Lanka to Northern Europe to Alaska; he has also worked and lived in Atlanta, London, New York, and Mexico.
Ben enjoys hiking, running, camping, kayaking, practicing yoga, and almost anything that can be construed as an adventure — whether it be as big as a cross-country road trip or as small as a weekend excursion to the local farmers market.
